Could you please define what do you mean with fine and broad adjustments? Are you talking about using the mobile version like the Quick Develop panel on the library?
It is not just a question of speed, it is a question of internet connectivity. There are some great places in Scotland or Wales where you would just not get internet connectivity. The idea is great, the way it is implemented is not so great. It is going to be sometime before every corner of this planet has high speed unrestricted internet access; it might actually never happen.
