Adobe Premier CC is so slow I am unable to work in any sort of productive manner. The source window sometimes takes up to 20 seconds to begin to play and sometimes there is only audio playback. The Main playback window takes 10 to 30 seconds just to show the frame when viewing clips and can take upwards of 30 seconds to start playing.
This is a brand new CC 2014 project with 1920 x 1080 footage shot with a Canon EOS 5d Mark II. I have opened older projects and they are also doing the same thing,.
On a PC windows 7 with all recent updates.
Xeon CPU - 2.4 GHz 4 cores
Nvidia Quadro 5000
Nvidia Tesla c2075
96 Gigs of RAM with 70% dedicated to Premier
My Cache file is a dedicated 200G SSD drive
My hard drives are local SATA (not networked and not external)
I am updated on all CC apps.
