Re: dynamically set "mailto:" upon submit

Hi,

How would you like to "dynamically" set the mailto: part?

If you want to display a dialog asking a user to enter email addresses on the fly, that's not any different from using the "Share File" option in Adobe Reader for iOS.

You (or any user can) do the following:

  1. Open a PDF document in Adobe Reader for iOS.
  2. Tap the Share icon in the top bar.
  3. Select "Share File".
  4. Select "Share Original Document" or "Share Flattened Copy".
  5. Tap Mail from the popup.
  6. Enter email recipients in the To field.
  7. Tap Send.

If you would like to add a button to send a PDF attachment with pre-determined/hard-coded/fixedemail addresses, you would need to use a PDF editor like Acrobat Pro, not a PDF viewer like Adobe Reader.

Adobe Reader for iOS provides limited JavaScript support.  It is not capable of showing a dialog for user input.
