If your using Windows you can install both the 32 Bit and 64 bit versions of CC. And install the 32 bit plug-in in the 32bit CC, However some plugin support has been removed from Photoshop. The support was removed in CS6 subscription version. Old 32 bit and 42 bit plug-ins like picture package and web photo gallery could be install in perpetual CS6 but not in subscription CS6. The two version of CC are independent but share your Photoshop preferences settings. only one or the other can be running at a time.
As of CS6 Mac Photoshop support is 64 bit only.
