I'd really like to install google-chrome in almost any version but when I try I find it is written with a bunch of dependencies which are unresolvable. Ditto Opera. Right now I feel I am the victim of some kind of plot born in the halls of Microsoft to discourage the use of Linux distros. I hope that's just paranoia on my part but just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get us all. Adobe in their infinite wisdom no longer provides the appropriate Flash to a system in current daily use because of it's inherent stability simply because a newer version exists and then serves out a Flash program for the new version of Debian (7.4/7.6) in the form of "pepperflash" which won't function due to controversy over glibc. Sounds almost deliberate to me! Just how involved with Microsoft coders are Adobe coders???
