Pardon my caution. I've heard of issues when deleting one version while holding another version on the same computer, because the version that is uninstalling often deletes the same directory files that are need for the newer version to run, so when you go to use the version that you wanted to keep it has holes...
Any thoughts? Can you confirm its that simple?
