As a college student, my course requires to use a lot of Adobe programs which are CS6. Recently the workload has just been very poor to average, due to the fact I only get a limited time to use the programs while in college, and while at the weekends and holidays I have no access at all. So I never get a chance to practice making websites with Dreamweaver, or editing photos with Photoshop. I know there are free alternatives, but it just isn't the same since I am so used to Adobe.
Since torrents are out of the questions for me, since I cannot risk getting viruses. I am considering to sign up for the student subscription of CC. But I just want to hear from the community what Creative Cloud has been like ever since it upgraded and is it worth the hassle and money?
It's just ever since the change to Cloud, I have heard rumours like difficulty with unsubscribing when the person cannot afford it anymore (this concerns me as I have no job and my income comes from the college grant, which is limited, so I plan to use it until the summer time, unless I find a way to afford it), because it is Cloud, there is instability in regards to data. Also there are rumours of overcharging.
I just need to know as it could help me to have a safe, legal Adobe programs on my own computer, but I need to know that it will not cause me any hassle.
