cannot down/load flash player

..have hp 500-281..64 bit...service pack 1

...windows 7 home premium service pack 2

...internet explorer 32 bit version 11.0.9600.17501IS..update 11.0.15 (KB 3008923)

when I download the adobe flash player, screen says 64 bit system

(I may need 32 bit flash to match internet 32bit ?)

when I down load any way, the peppermint candy rod turns for about 4 seconds..i click open/run...the screen stops any way and shows you have problem

I then click down load again and click save...

I get a listing on my down load file but cant open / install

I turn off active x

I turned off internet explorer and screen went blank

I AM NOT HAVING ANY LUCK

I INSTALLED CHROME OPERATING SYSTEM AND FLASH INSTALLS AND RUNS WELL..

.I NEED FLASH ON INTERNET EXPLORER....HELP GERALD
