How to make a clean color mask of Z (depth) blending of layers?

I  mean if  I have two objects  having its depth info in 32 bit exr.    To put one against another and then get a mask for its color blending   that would render where pixels of top layer higher ( brighter in  its depth info) than corresponding  bottom one.

Something that would recreate Zbrush 2,5 D layers,     Blender Z combine node  or Fusuion merge node depth option  for depth blending .    Is there a trick to rightfully do so in Photoshop?   Maybe  a kind of blending modes combination ?

Preferably I would like to get an anti-aliased  mask as Blender does so  and not aliased Fusion's one.
